Nationalparks Repovesi and Gesäuse

Repovesi (Finland): area: 30km2 sea-level: 76,6  foundation year: 2003 Geographie: Bedrock of Repovesi is mostly hard granit. There is also stone rapakivi. In Repovesi there are great mounds of rocks. Plants: -woodlands -pines -lichens -twig-plants -European aspens -little-leaf lindens, ferns, wood horsetails Animals: -red-throated diver(Gavia stellats) -diver(Gavia arctica) -flying squirrel (petau-ristinae)  Gesäuse (Austria): area: 125km2 sea-level: 1500 foundation year: 2003 Geographie: Young mountain range from the end of resozoikum and begin of tertier limestone, dolomite, gromit. Plants: Orchids (almost 50 species), forests of beeches and fin,block spruce forests and red pine forest. Kinds of plants only in the area of the northeastern limestone Alps, for example primula clusiona.
