I was one week in Slovenia with Samu, Sauli and our teacher Mirva.
I met a lot of very nice people who I am missing all the time.
I saw wonderful landscapes, and I got to know a different culture.
We three students lived in different host families in different parts of Ljubljana.
My family was really hospitable and friendly.
There were Marinka (my hostess), her mum, her dad, her brother and three dogs in that family. I had a lot of my own space there, like own big room, so it was very nice.
Every morning we met each others in the school and then usually we left with bus somewhere. We visited mountains, caves and coast. It is unbelievable how many different things could be in one country, there was a lot of variety! And everything was so beautiful.
Those mountains were unspeakable! Actually the only place where I didn´t see those mountains was when I closed my eyes.
Caves were also a new experience, because you can't see such caves in Finland. It was exiting to walk almost 3 kilometers under the ground. There were a lot deep drops, and down there flows a river.
The coast was like a holiday place, with a big, blue, beautiful see, warm air, and everything. When the other part of Slovenia were a little bit cold, and rainy, in the coast we were sweating without doing nothing! 
All our evenings we spent together in a group which consisted of foreign students and everyone´s hostnesses. We decide together what we want to do. We went to movies, play paintball, to restaurants. And there we just talk, get know each others, have a nice time. I liked the most those evenings, there were always good atmosphere and a lot of laughing.
I think that in many cases Slovenia is like Finland. The biggest differences that I noticed was food, which tasted so different and strong. And also people weren´t as open or straight as in Finland. But they were very polite and nice!
I enjoyed my trip very much, it was maybe one of the best things in my life. I learned to speak English a lot more better and I got courage to speak it. I am not worried of every mistake anymore and I don´t need to think about speaking so much. I got new experience and also I got so many new friends who I will talk a lot of in future, and meet again! The whole trip was memorable. <3
