The idea of this Socrates Comenius 1 project is to study water and various issues connected with it both in Finland and Slovenia. Our aim is also to compare differences and similarities during our research. This enables us to have a wider perspective to our own water regions while giving students a chance to learn more about each others' cultures.

Our schools, Gimnazija Trbovlje and Mäntän lukio, are working on an international project sponsored by Socrates Comenius 1 and the European Union. The topic of our project is "Water is Life". 20 Slovenian and 20 Finnish students are working together on the topics throughout the year.
