I was told to choose an actor who I might admire..well, I chose Jack Nicholson. And why? Well, I think Nicholson is like a chameleon, he has a great ability to adapt to different kinds of movies and to succeed in them very well.
During last weekend I watched a movie called AS GOOD AS IT GETS. It is a romantic comedy made in 1997. Finally I got to see something different, something where there was a message. It was such a marvellous mixture of feelings that it almost moved me to tears. And the little dog..it was so sympathetic=). Actually Jack Nicholson has won another BEST ACTOR award for his performance in this movie with the co-winner Helen Hunt.
He has written several screen scripts too, and for his performance in REDS he received the British Film Academy award. SHINE is the movie that almost all people know. In this film he made a huge performance. I myself don't like the Shine, it is quite a goofy film. But the performance is so marvellous that maybe I couldn't have done it better!
