Perhonjokilaakso (the Perho River Valley)Folk College provides a great number of various courses and activities to the people of different ages living in the area of the four municipalities such as - Halsua, Kaustinen, Perho and Veteli.
Our aim is to meet comprehensively the variable educational needs of the inhabitants and society. The old folklore, with its rich customs and traditions, music, dance and handicraft, is strongly presented in the region of the Perho River Valley, The curriculum is resembling its area - there are offered folklore, music, Finnish folk dance, drama play, arts and crafts, etc.
Perhonjokilaakso Folk College provides about 7000 lessons and has an average of 3100 participants a year.
