WWF/Naturewatch Award 2005

WWF/Naturewatch Award 2005
Sorrila school was granted the WWF/Naturewatch Award for doing experiments in the environment: parks, forests and lakes/rivers.
Naturewatch water experiments were also one of this year's (present) joint activities. We arranged a small celebration in our school gym April 10th 2005 when the national environmental coordinator, Tarja Malmi-Raike from WWF Finland came to give us the certificate. Sorrila got 500e and we decided to buy a bird watching telescope to encourage teachers and students to go out for bird watching trips.
