Environment and values
Objectives
• We offer possibilities to expirience nature nearby. It is our way to find a sensitiveness for the nature. Children can produce their ideas for example in art.
• To encrease chilrens knowledge of environment and nature. This will improve their consiousness about environmental things and capasity to find and evaluate nature values which are important for humans good life. It is also important to understand natures own values without humans needs.
• To main aim is increase childrens responsibility for environment and find the joy of beeing and exploring nature. Tool for these aims are experience, stydying and art.

While walking through the forest the pupils will learn how to observe the nature, how to focus their concentration on a detail and later expand it in a general knowledge. We want children to be more familiar with the forest close to their school. Later they will compare it with the outcomes from other countries to understand that our world varies from place to place depending on climate and they would try to find the way how to preservet this unique variety.
The project is based on experiencing the world through all the sences. This would be cross-curricular project integrating all the fields of child experience. During the school lessons our pupils often talk about nature, its diversity and changes. Now they’ll have a chance to notice, observe, discuss, learn about, document all those things by themselves.
It would be the first step to more sofisticated world exploration and the comparison with the other European countries will wide their intercultural competence.
The products they will produce will stay as a teaching aid for pupils, teachers and other people in the following years.
