European Day at Cliftonville Primary School!

On Thursday 19th February Cliftonville Integrated Primary School celebrated all things European! The day kicked off with a great assembly singing songs in Spanish and French. We had 3 lovely Dutch visitors along to tell us about their home country, we had great fun looking at all the different costumes that the children wore - from traditional Spanish dress to a mime artist fresh off the streets off Paris. Activities ran through out the day including a cookery demonstration and a fantastic afternoon of food tasting where parents were invited. Every class looked at a different European country, Primary One - Greece, Primary One/ Two - Spain, Primary Three - Poland, Primary Four - Poland, Primary Five - France, Primary Six - Holland, and Primary Seven - Italy. The day was a great success and hopefully will become a yearly event! Take a look at our great photographs!
