eTwinning on Euroopan unionin eLearning-ohjelman tärkein hanke. Se edistää koulujenvälistä, tieto- ja viestintätekniikkaa (ICT) hyödyntävää yhteistyötä Euroopassa tarjoamalla tukea, työvälineitä ja palveluja, jotka helpottavat lyhyiden ja pitkäkestoisten kumppanuuksien muodostamista minkä tahansa aiheen tiimoilta.

eTwinning is the main action of the European Union's eLearning programme. It promotes school collaboration in Europe through the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) by providing support, tools and services to make it easy for schools to form short or long term partnerships in any subject area.

Ohkolan koulun 1.- ja 2. luokat työskentelevät eTwinning- projektin parissa belgialaisen Mater Dei- koulun sekä slovakialaisen Zakladna Skola- koulun kanssa. Kummastakin koulusta yhteistyökumppanina on 6-8 vuotiaita, joiden kanssa tutkimme mitä luonnossa tapahtuu eri vuodenaikoina. Projekti alkoi syyskuussa 2007.
The first and the second graders of Ohkola school work in an eTwinning project with Mater Dei school from Belgium and Zakladna Skola school from Slovakia. The participants from both of those schools are 6-8 year olds, with whom we will look into what happens in the nature in different seasons. The project started in September 2007. |
Koulumme neljäs luokka oli toisena osanottajana yhdessä ateenalaisen luokan kanssa projektissa, joka alkoi huhtikuussa 2006 ja päättyi syksyllä 2007. Tutustuimme toisiimme ja toistemme maihin erilaisten teemojen parissa. Projekti on saanut laatupalkinnon sekä Kreikasta että Suomesta ja myös eurooppalaisen laatupalkinnon.
The fourth grade of our school was the other project partner together with a class from Athens in a project, which started in in April 2006 and ended in the fall of 2007. We learned to know each others and our countries covering different assignments and topics. This project received the quality label both from Greece and Finland, as well as the European quality label. |
Koulumme kuudes luokka osallistui projektiin yhdessä bulgarialaisen, tsekkiläisen, italialaisen ja puolalaisen koulun kanssa. Projekti alkoi huhtikuussa 2007 ja päättyy toukokuussa 2008. Esittelemme toisillemme kansantarujamme ja vanhoja tarinoita ja kirjoitamme niihin perustuen uuden tarinan.
The 6th grade of our school participated in a project together with a school from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Italy and Poland. The project started in april 2007 and ended for us in May 2008. The other schools will still continue. We introduced our old national stories to each other and wrote together a new story based on the old ones. |
Yksi valinnaiskurssi syksyllä 2007 rakentui lyhyen eTwinning-projektin ympärille. Tutustuimme molemmissa maissa, Saksassa ja Suomessa, samaan tarinaan Kalastajasta ja hänen vaimostaan ja teimme siitä yhdessä multimediaesityksen.
One of the optional courses in our school in the fall of 2007 was based on a short eTwinning-project. In both countries, in Germany and Finland, we got to know the same story, the Fisherman and his wife and made a multimedia show from it. |
Kuudes luokka teki keväällä 2008 omasta maastamme 20 kysymystä, joiden vastaukset löytyvät Internetistä. Vastasimme myös muiden osallistujien tekemiin kysymyksiin heidän omista maistaan.
In the spring of 2008 the 6th grade made 20 questions from our own country. The answers were found in Internet. We also answered the questions made by the other participants from other countries. |
Kuudes luokka osallistui keväällä 2008 projektiin, jossa ratkaistiin erilaisia sudokuja.
