Stephen Harris, Principal of the Northern Beaches Christian School and Director of the Sydney Centre for Innovation in Learning has cast an e-mail ball (snowball in this time of Finnish winter) and has told that he and his team are:
"looking to some effective ways of providing a vision for the potential of blended or distributed online course delivery. There aren’t many schools in Australia doing this at present, so I am looking to organizing a 2 week tour of schools in northern Europe again for our group (3 or 4). I have no specific names of schools in Finland that would be well-advanced in the use of online content for blended or distributed learning and was hoping that you might be able to suggest a couple of ‘best practice’ schools."
This message had in Finland a two week long digital wanderings from the Ministry of Education to the National Board of Education and via two steps from there to a group of teachers working in a virtual school project.
And the question met a good soil (or at the moment snowdrifts). So let's start to sharing ideas. Turn to the discussion page! |
