Kalliola school is a basic education school in Kangasniemi, Finland. It is a public school maintained by Kangasniemi municipality. The pupils taught in our school are 6-8 years old - pre-primary education and primary education forms 1 and 2.
This school year, 2008-09, there are 85 pupils in our school. There are seven teachers and six classes (two pre-primary education groups, two 1st form groups and two 2nd form groups).
Compulsory core subjects in forms 1 and 2 are the mother tongue (Finnish) and literature, environmental studies, religion, mathematics, physical education, music, visual arts and craft. Instruction is given by the class teacher.
