LOGO COMPETITION 2011

A Comenius project named „A room in the house of Europe“

This year our school has succeeded in joining in a Comenius project for the next two
years. Spain, Germany, Italy and Finland are going to cooperate with each other.

And - we are searching for a suitable logo.
Here are the ideas from our project of which you might favour some and find a
graphical way of expressing them:

- 4 countries among the community of Europe
- people, families, big and small, old and young, of various origin, family tree
- housing with rooms, doors, windows...
- Europe, a place of diversity and tolerance (coloured hands, heads, feet, clothing...

We need your fantasy!

What´s your job now?
Create a logo by hand or computer in the size of 15x 20 cm paper.
Take all colours and try to make it simple. With clear shape and letters let the
main idea be obvious on first sight.
Include the name of „ Comenius“
You are free to work with a partner.

Hand in your sketch to .............................. from ........................ school.

Final date:

The winners will receive prizes which the schools will decide independently.
They will also take part in the European contest of best logos in Europe.

Good luck !

The winning image of the Logo Competition by Violeta Aldrey Dono from Spain

There were lots and lots of awesome logos to choose from in Bremen from all the participating countries. The logos were on display at Mensa the school cafeteria for a few days before the jury gathered to decide the best logos. The jury consisted of one teacher and one student from each country. The Spanish logo by Violeta Aldrey Dono was chosen the best logo, winning 100 euros. The second one was from Germany (50e) and the third from Finland (30e). Congratulations and many happy returns to all the artists!!
