How do I create an Article?
(Editors)
• Go to the Log in of you own magazine.
• Type your Username: _________________
and Password: _________________
• You are now at the Editorial Office.
• Select Create New Article.
• Write a short descreptive Headline (lure).
• Write a short narrative description of the article you are going to write (optional).
• Write the article. Use HTML tags if you wish.
• Do not forget to save the article
by clicking Save Article button
at the bottom of the page.
• You can view your article by saving it.
Continue writing the article or edit it by selecting Edit.
How do I upload Image, Video or Voice Files Into a Magazine ?
• Select Media library
• Select Upload files.
• Select Browse.
• A selection window is opened.
• Select the image, video or voice file you want to upload from among the files on your own computer.
• The file name that you selected by cklicking the Open button appears in the Upload files window.
• By clicking the Upload files button you move the file to the Peda.net server, where it can be attached to the text.
• The file name appears in the Media library.
o You can preview the images on the server if you wish by clicking Thumbnails.
o If you click the thumbnail image that you want to preview it is expanded to its actual size. Do not forget to close the “preview window” that you opened.
o In Media Library you can also Edit the image size, rotate the image, Rename it or Delete it.
How do I attach an Image, a Video, an Audio File or a
Link to an Article?
Attaching an Image, Video or Audio File
• Upload the image/video/audio
file as instructed.
• Select the article you want and click Edit.
• Select the place in the text where you want to attach the image.
• Type the full name of the image/file (e.g. school.jpg). As you read the article, you see the image where you placed its name. Video and audio files appear as a link.
• Save (the button is at the bottom of the page) the changes you have made to the article.
• View the article.
Attaching Links
• Select the article you wrote and click Edit.
• Select the place in the text where you want to attach the link.
• Type the URL address of the web
page (e.g. http://www.peda.net).
• Save and View the article.
• When you read the article the address becomes a link to the web page you wanted.The link opens a new browser window.
