Dublin and some of Ireland, summer 2007
The bridge called Halfpenny takes you across the River Liffey. The name refers to the sum of money you had to pay to cross the river.
I visited Ireland this summer, for the very first time. I saw the Wicklow Mountains with small lakes and heather, and visited the coast. I even saw Bono's house! Dublin is easy to go around, and it makes the city an easy place for a short stay, too. Not so surprisingly, there were English people having their bachelor parties in the streets and pubs of Dublin.
A place worth a visit, says Sari.
