Dublin and some of Ireland, in 2007 and 2008

The bridge called Halfpenny takes you across the River Liffey. The name refers to the sum of money you had to pay to cross the river.

I visited Ireland in summer 2007, for the very first time. I saw the Wicklow Mountains with small lakes and heather, and visited the coast. I even saw Bono's house! Dublin is easy to go around, and it makes the city an easy place for a short stay, too. Not so surprisingly, there were English people having their bachelor parties in the streets and pubs of Dublin.
A place worth a visit, says Sari.

Encouraged by this adventure, we took a trip to Ireland with students in May 2008. Are we going to far-away places again? We'd love to and we will!
