The project “School Initiative Centre – Café Culture” will contribute to the enrichment of knowledge within cooperation of the partner schools with the local community and institutions in both countries (PL and FI) focusing on extracurricular activities in schools. The students are mainly between 15 to 19 years of age and studying both in vocational and (academic) high schools.
The diversity of institutions will enable us to access directly to various models and interesting ideas. Each consortium will offer their partners ideas which we may use, disseminate and promote in our countries.
Creating “School Initiative Centres – Café Culture” in Polish partnership we are convinced that they will become an example of good cooperation within the scope of extracurricular activities in the local community.
Workshops for teachers and classes for students within key competences are focused on the development of initiative behaviour, entrepreneurship, cultural expressiveness, ICT and communication in foreign languages. All this will contribute to development of students’ skills which will enable them to achieve full self-realization in the society based on understanding.
All the participants will be involved in project work, seminars, working visits and events which will follow them.
There will be a website which presents our communities, products and popularize examples of good practice. We hope that the project will be the beginning of our long-term cooperation within the field of education between regions from Poland and Finland.
