Peda.net Schoolnet

Research

The Peda.net Schoolnet is a subproject of the Research Team on ICT in Learning and Working Environments based in the Finnish Institute for Educational Research. The research team is looking at the potential of technology and virtual learning environments as support systems for learning and teaching. Its activities involve, on the one hand, multidisciplinary, theoretically oriented basic research and, on the other hand, development-oriented studies that spring from practical starting points.

The research activities around the Peda.net Schoolnet represent development-oriented studies carried out in close collaboration with schools and teachers. In addition to the staff of different educational institutions and organisations, those contributing to this research collaboration include also other national and international experts active in the field.
