What to do?

Unfortenately the Greek teacher Mary has moved to new position in the ministry of education in Athens. At the moment it looks like we have to end this project. We had a great time together, which is important to remember even if this ends a lot earlier than we had planned.
Both teachers have agreed to continue with this project. So far we have concentrated on ourselves, our schools and some local customs as well as the weather. Next year we will move a bit further away: to our own village (in Finland) or the township (in Athens), the hometowns (that should be funny, Mäntsälä with 18 000 inhabitants and Athens with a bit more), the capitals (Helsinki and Athens) etc.

Mary and Sari will meet in June in Athens and talk more about all this. And in September we will be back here working with the project!

Have a great summer!
What are the hobbies of the kids in both classes? Do we share same hobbies in both countries?
What subjects do we have at school in each country? What are the schedules like? What are the favourite school subjects in each class?
Let's talk about the weather and the different climates we have in our countries! We can keep doing this for many months to come!
How do we celebrate Christmas in each country? The children will write and draw about the local customs and believes.
The children will tell about their own school by drawing pictures or/and writing little stories about it.
Children will draw a picture of their family. The teacher will take photos of those pictures or scan them and they will be added to these pages.
This month the project will start. First thing to do is to write an email, where you tell about yourself. These emails will be sent to Mary- and Sari-teachers who will give them to their own students.
