At first, class 4 presented a programme about Comenius trips to Milowka, Ustron Forest Park of Surprises and Wygielzow open air museum. The children recited short poems and sang
a special Comenius song. There was a Powerpoint presentation of the pictures taken during the trips, too.

Here’s one stanza of the song (to the melody of a popular Polish song):
Hello Finland! Hello Norway!
And Bulgaria! Hi! Good morning!
Nice to see you! Nice to meet you!
How are you? Poland’s calling!
Then, we had European Song Festival. It was first such a festival in our school. In this way we took part in Spring Day in Europe. Each class prepared an European song, the children sang and danced and they wore lovely, colourful costumes.

We had special guests on that day. We invited the representatives of Wilamowice community authorities, school authorities from Bielsko-Biala city and headteachers from neighbouring schools.

After the official part in the school gym, the children went to their classrooms and worked on the WELCOME TO POLAND topic. They made albums on Warsaw, Cracow, Wieliczka Salt Mine, Bielsko-Biala city, Tatras mountains, the Baltic, and other Polish sites.

Class 1 – working on Gniezno album.

Polish mountains album - class 2b.

Baltic Sea album - class 2a.

Class 4 - Bielsko-Biala album.

Class 5b - Cracow album.

Tykocin – European stork village album - by boys from class 6.

Tatra mountains and Zakopane album by girls from class 6.
