Hecznarowice village is in Silesia province (province is “voivodship” in Polish language).
It is located in the south of Poland. The nearest big cities are Bielsko-Biala and Cracow (Krakow).
Cracow was Poland’s capital city until 1609. Now our capital city is Warsaw (Warszawa).
This is a map of Wilamowice community. There are five villages and the town
of Wilamowice.

This is the road to Hecznarowice. You are invited to come and visit our village!

Our region is very beautiful and many tourists come here.
There are Beskidy mountains, there are rivers, lakes and forests. There are historical buildings to see, too.
This is our school. It's red and white. It is the only school in our village. Our village is small. 2000 people live here.

The fire brigade building is not far from school. The building is grey and it has red door.

This is our church. It is a Catholic church. We go there every Sunday.
The first church in Hecznarowice was built in 1826. It was a small chapel.
It was made bigger in 1843. The church bell was bought in Vienna in 1844.
The new church was built in 1888. The church is called St. Urban’s Church.

This is Sola river. It has a beautiful valley. There are trees: birches, oaks, pines and willows. It is a very nice place. We go walking, swimming and fishing there. Now there is not much water in Sola river. But it has many colours in autumn.

These are Hecznarowice fish ponds. They are not very far from school. In autumn they look lovely. There are many colours: yellow, gold, green, brown. The sky is blue and the water is blue, too.
